The device is of professional range and designed to allow the user nuclear environment monitoring in areas, living quarters and workroom premises. It operates as dosimeter and radiometer and provides the measurement as:
- ambient equivalent gamma
- radiation dose rate
- beta radiation flux density measurements taking off the radioactive nuclide polluted surfaces
- radioactive nuclides aggregate specific activity in aqueous solutions
The device provides indications the ambient equivalent gamma-radiation dose rate exceeding the threshold values of 0,6 and 1,2mkSv/h.
The unit set comprises the RKS-107 device, carrying case and passport.
